I bought the $188 one and it was trash. Straight-on viewing was ..ok... but anything at even a slight angle and it was awful. This is the 55S41 $188 on Nov 8 or thereabouts, that I'm micro-reviewing.
I took it back, and I'll keep using a 2010 Sony; the Sony was superior.
I have a TCL 55" 4 series since they dropped to $299… like back in 2017. Used in bedroom so it's only straight - on viewing, room isn't large enough to test wide angles. But we have been very happy with the TV at price paid.
I got the 55 inch 5 series tcl QLED 4k from Best Buy for 199. Should I cancel and get this? It's for my mom so she doesn't really care about the "differences" but I don't wanna get something worse per say.
The 55 inch Series 5 TCL from Best Buy is a much better TV. The only advantage here is if you must have a 65 inch. Apples to apples, I'd take the TV with a better picture quality over an extra 10".

Seems like Walmart Plus members will likely get them all, I'm not paying for the privileged to shop at Walmart, worth a shot to maybe get it but likely sold out before the rest of us can even get one.
Standing on principal, eh?!
$228 for the 65" TV + $12.90 for 1 month Walmart+ ... so is the cost of a pizza cheap enough to get what's still a good deal? I'm going to A-B it against their ONN 65" set that uses a LG QLED screen, and has local dimming, Atmos, etc. at just under $400. Wish I'd been aware of the $200 BestBuy 55" box.

what do we think about this TV against this one is anybody know about the ratings or anything it'd be interesting to Hisense - 65" Class U8H Series Mini LED Quantum ULED 4K UHD Smart Google TV
Not even close the U*H is one of the best Minileds on the market
Had mine for 3 years now...even use it with my ps5. It's a good tv...only thing it lacks is hdmi ports...added a switcher, so there is no real complaint
Played with it at all..? How's the Google OS as far as lag etc..? Thank you in advance
I bought it the other day and the OS seems pretty slow, not the best. I hooked up my Apple TV to it and it runs extremely well, so I'd recommend a Roku or something else to go with it. Otherwise it's an amazing TV for the price.
