I bought the $188 one and it was trash. Straight-on viewing was ..ok... but anything at even a slight angle and it was awful. This is the 55S41 $188 on Nov 8 or thereabouts, that I'm micro-reviewing.

I took it back, and I'll keep using a 2010 Sony; the Sony was superior. Frown

I have a TCL 55" 4 series since they dropped to $299… like back in 2017. Used in bedroom so it's only straight - on viewing, room isn't large enough to test wide angles. But we have been very happy with the TV at price paid.

Same model but you get 40% more screen with only a 21% increase in price. So price per square inch of screen area is cheaper on the 65"

Just had it delivered via Walmart's delivery partner. I ordered it around 7pm last night and received it a few minutes ago. Box is in great condition. That was crazy fast for such a huge package. It was delivered from a store about 20 minutes from me, so that helps with delivery time.

I haven't opened it yet, as it's a gift. If anything, the extended warranty will cover anything. Good deal!

Got a text at 9:55AM ET that mine was on the way and would arrive by 10:05. Showed up right on time in the back of a Sprinter van along with 3 others strapped in standing vertically. Box has a slightly mashed in corner on the bottom of the front side but is in great shape everywhere else. Hopefully it's OK but if not I'm not too worried. I have 2 of the 55" ones, a 58" Element from Target and a 55" TCL QLED at BB waiting to be picked up. Pretty sure the Element will be going back. I did add the 5 year warranty for $39 in case it doesn't last that long.
