I bought the $188 one and it was trash. Straight-on viewing was ..ok... but anything at even a slight angle and it was awful. This is the 55S41 $188 on Nov 8 or thereabouts, that I'm micro-reviewing.

I took it back, and I'll keep using a 2010 Sony; the Sony was superior. Frown

I have a TCL 55" 4 series since they dropped to $299… like back in 2017. Used in bedroom so it's only straight - on viewing, room isn't large enough to test wide angles. But we have been very happy with the TV at price paid.

Same model but you get 40% more screen with only a 21% increase in price. So price per square inch of screen area is cheaper on the 65"

My order was canceled this morning. Not coincidentally, it went back in stock in that store and the surrounding area. Basically, I think they wouldn't deliver it.

Particularly annoying, as I signed up for Walmart+ just to get this deal and ordered this as a gift for my parents. I don't live in the same area so can't even pick it up. By the time I called them to see if they would be able to, it sold out again. **** Walmart.

Well my pickup order just got cancelled. I holding out hope for the delivery order where unfortunately the status hasn't changed from "order placed "

For those with cancellations - have you contacted CS to see what they're providing? I'm in a similar situation and wanted to see if it's worthwhile. My buddy years back had his delayed and delayed and then canceled and they ended up giving him a bigger, more expensive TV just to get it done.

Same on my end, my online order, placed the first minute of availability on the 21st, buying W+ in the process, was finally canceled this morning.

I saw it in stock in 3 stores around me (sorta close), ordered all 3 and they each got cancelled.

What a complete disaster.

Can't seem to figure out how to turn off hdr. Tried picture setting and home button 5x. Still don't see the disable hdr selection. Anyone was able to figure it out? TIA

It can't be turned off for the Roku features. The only option is to use an external device and turn the HDR off on the device.
