It is 90 days on device payment plan which means that the 3 payments of the device should have occured to ones carrier before allowing to switch.
So will the promo last for 3 months for one to switch
I just realized that I will have to do minimum 3 installments..... T-mobile Keep and Switch promo has been around since Oct 2021. Hopefully it will be around in 3 months. Worst case scenario there will be similar promotion with lower rebate.

I have done iphone SE deal back in 2020 and it is pretty straight forward. I'm on Grandfathered Rollover plan and I did my upgrade through Walmart without any issue.
You can always pay installment off at anytime.
This deal basically you pay full price for the device with ATT via 36 months installments and Walmart will give you GC because you did upgrade through them.

It does take 1 or 2 bill cycle for installment to show up in the bill. Once it shows up, you can just pay it off via ATT website and get the phone unlock if you been have been with ATT for more than 60 days.

One good thing about buying through Walmart is that they don't force you to get the new unlimited plan.
Thanks so much!

I think the other post answered most of your questions. You have 36 months to pay off your installment, but if you decide to pay off in full earlier, you are not under any obligation to stay for 36 months. You dont need trade in to get the gc.
Thank you (couldn't nest this with my other thanks on mobile, sorry for the double post)

Is the gift card offer only good on the listed dates? I get Walmart+ free with my Amex so I can order now as an "insider".

What is so sacred about giving your SSN to Walmart.

Any way to see the delivery time (14 pro max) before giving them SSN?

Do you think Best Buy will match the gift certificate/ They have no offer except the trade-in over three years.

ATT offers $250 for port in number so there is potential for $300 - Walmart giftcard
$250 - ATT port in credits
$800 - Trade in

1099 + tax - (800 + 250 + 300) = so get back $200?

You can upgrade but have to satisfy a bunch of conditions. I bought unlocked s22 ultra from Bestbuy recently and traded in my note 10+ to bestbuy. ~$250 out of pocket. (This deal is still available.)
This upgrade did not invalidate the $500 BYOD promo. I talked/emailed with a bunch of verizon reps before doing this.

One clear way to invalidate the BYOD promo is to upgrade with a device payment plan with Verizon. Therefore this Walmart deal should not work with the BYOD promo
I still have about 3mos on my Verizon dpp from 2yrs ago (monthly credits from trade-in). Do u know if I can still do this without invalidating the remaining trade in credits?

So, if we sign up, we can cancel immediately?

How much is the activation fee for verizon for new accounts?

It was confirmed by an Apple representative that they plan to move to USB-C.
Unless that's very recent update, what the Apple guy said was that Apple would comply with the law. Which could mean that they will go wireless rather than USB-C.
Has there been a more recent announcement that specified they would implement USB-C?

Hi Guys,

I have read multiple posts on this thread saying that one could cancel the service with Verizon in either first billing cycle or after 60 days .

So, was curious to know ,
1. Doesn't Verizon charge ETF ( early termination fee ) if we cancel the service after 30 or 60 days even if device is paid in full ?
2. Would Verizon allow you to pay off device within customer satisfaction period ( not sure if its 14 days or 30 days ) and not get caught on ETF ?

Basically , trying to understand what's the best approach to not have to pay hefty monthly service bills with Verizon and get away as early as possible after paying device in full and at the same time not break any agreement rules.

Thanks in advance for your time and valuable inputs ! Cheers !

Is there an activation fee?
How early can we cancel?
Can we buy the larger storage size version and still qualify?

Not bad as you can probably stack carrier port in discounts. Dont try switching same day - switch one day before!
Can you explain this part- why to switch in early?
