Lutron just updated to make the Claro and Diva lines smart (with the hub). Rocker switches, instead of the Caseta-style buttons.

Rock solid performance, build quality and top notch support if needed. It is the gold standard.

Not to mention they are not a drain on WiFi.

Does anyone know when this sale ends? I could not make it to store today and was hoping it wasn't just a weekly sale that ends today. Thanks

Ok lots of statements here.

The new diva switches don't replace everything, it's just a rocker style

lutron is amazing and pricey,

- no neutral required
- pico remotes
- fan switches to control fan speed (not sure if others have)
- hub is used, less clutter on wifi network and lightning fast response times
- homekit compatibility

i have about 12 switches, mainly for fans, and for my outside lights to put on a timer. one hub controls like 50 devices … i think?

i'm doing this on memory

Lutron caseta is awesome, if you're too lazy to run your own wires to do a three way, you can just use a pico remote mounted to the wall.
lol that's not even being lazy really, just practical and cost effective. What's lazy is homebuilders not putting enough thought into electrical switch layout.

I am also going on memory, but I think they bumped the device limit to 75 back in 2019 or 2020. Not sure if they have increased it further since.

I bought 2 starter kits and 2 dimmer with Pico at one store (she got from the stockroom). Went to another store and he found only one dimmer/Pico in stockroom. Switches were not on sale. I bought it plus he said I could order more from his system and send them to me. So, I bought 6 more sets of dimmer/Pico. I have an old home with some neutral wires but mostly no neutral. So, these are perfect for the prices.

There is no neutral wire. They work well although we had a light / bulbs that didn't work well because of the ghosting of the light (never turning off) although Lutron sells a small electrical device for less than $10 that does fix this issue.
I don't have the problem yet but what is this device? Link?

I purchased it on Amazon - Lutron part number LUT-MLC. Apparently if your lights / fixtures are above a minimum wattage, they will not cause the the very faint ghost light. Apparently a well known documented issue for many dimmers that don't require a neutral wire. BTW this part does require the use of a neutral wire.

Great deal! I am confirming being able to place an order at the counter and have them shipped directly to my home. I was able to order 35x regular switches, 35x dimmers and 1x smart hub with dimmer. I will be using for a new construction house and am very happy that I was able to find these Lutron switches to add to my collection!

Each smart hub "home" can handle up to 75 devices. The hub and pico remotes all count for a device, so my system will require two hubs setup as separate homes. I will be splitting the exterior lighting and first floor on one system, and then the second and third floors on another system.

Thanks OP, I have been waiting for these to go on sale for a very long time!!

If anyone is around Philadelphia/NJ and has an extra Smart Bridge to sell, please PM me.

I was able to get some dimmers and switches but I need a Smart Bridge.

Thanks!

Why wouldn't you go with an ra select or ra2/3 system? Seems annoying to have it split into multiple accounts.

RA2/3 would be about 5x the cost of the Caseta system. So instead of paying $2500 total for the whole house using Caseta, RA2/3 would probably be looking at like $12k+.

We are looking at about 11 fans, 35-40 dimmers, 35-40 regular switches. This will give us the ability to do it all very economically and get about 98% of the functionality and automation we desire.

Can one pico remote control two switches (together)? I want my remote to turn on/off three switches together.
Yes, if I recall it can control as many as you want (no limits)

If you get the caseta pro dimmers, you can keep the original 3way switch and it will work. (Or the on/off switches also work with 3way)
Can you replace both three way switches with normal Caseya on/offs? Is there anything special you have to do since there is a neutral involved?

Anyone else able to replicate this deal, or is it just the OP's store?
I found this deal in my local store like an hour before getting the notification from SD.

I bought the only two they had because I need the switches for a new house.
