Dang it, just bought the Steelbook for full price a few weeks back. Still worth but should have waited. Didn't expect it to be half price. It runs great on the Switch and love that I can just put to sleep and pick up right where I left off.

It's just an old game. Lots of publishers will put titles on sale ASAP (especially physical copies) to capture as much revenue as possible before used copies saturate the market.

Ahh, so it's probably not worth the shady swap? Was thinking of doing the same. We're talking about getting $10 back and keeping the steelbook version was wondering if it was worth it lol

YMMV but I was able to talk to Target live chat and get a price match even though it was way past the 14 day limit of price matching. (bought full price on release)

Yeah, and it's been under $60 on Switch before.

In Target's B2G1 sale on Nov 6, P5Royal was $40 with the Target Buy 3 Cancel 2 trick.

Gamefly also had P5Royal on Switch at $40 and $35 used in the past few weeks.

Gamestop NOW also has this for $29.
