Why did you ask Google for help, shouldn't you complain to Palo Alto Networks who makes GlobalProtect? I doubt Google can fix every buggy app in their Play Store.

Better off getting iphone XR from Walmart, and trading that in at bestbuy, to get pixel 7 for 40!

Because the app works just fine on 7 other phones, but didn't on three Pixel 6a phones. The VPN would not work/connect on the work laptop when using the Pixel 6a as a hotspot. Seven other phones work flawlessly as a hotspot and running the app on them (Galaxy S21+, OnePlus 8, Motorola stylus 5G, Moto One Ace, Galaxy S7, friend's iPhone not sure the model, and 8-year old Huawei).

Agreed I blame the developer for that. Sounds like it doesn't place nice with the latest version of Android.
