What are the odds of seeing a better price during BF/CM? I'd rather purchase it at Target (5% off), Apple (3% back with Apple card) or Costco (>2% back with costco card) if the price was at the same or lower.

Plus, I now have no trust in Amazon for such products, they put the battery sticker on the box which says "steal me, I'm valuable". It happened once to me, never again!

If you have the amazon cc you get 5% back, I never had any issues with Amazon and if item is stolen, they will refund you the full ammount.

Does this M2 version really have overheating and battery issues like a couple Amazon reviews say? If so, maybe the M1 version from best buy is better for $899 for 256gb and $999 for 512gb.
