I don't know SKU but eufy had doorbell comparison page if you Google. All the other doorbells have hard wire option except this. I'm only speaking on the ones that can do 2k video, didn't look into the 1080p ones

Have had this model for 3 years now (was beta testing it for eufy).

The battery lasts about 150-180 days. To give an idea my app shows it has detected 1169 events in 109 days with 400 saved (others filtered out by the AI since they were false) with 51% remaining since the last charge. I have it set to optimal surveillance with no battery saver option enable. I will say mine is angled inside a porch 90 degrees from the front door so it doesn't catch as many false events.

I've yet to fill up the SD card. Purchased a 64gb high endurance sandisk card. In 873 days it's recorded 3317 motion events and filled 6.3 GB. Note there is NO option for continuous recording

It does a phenomenal job with motion detection and capturing a screenshot of the person it detects with their face zoomed in. Sends you a phone alert with the face it detected. Once you mess with the motion zones it's basically set. There will be false events once in a while buts it's rare.

A cool thing it does is when it detects motion the button has a blue halo that starts pulsing softly to push it. My ring just had a lit up ring that had no activity when it detected motion.

The resolution is also very good even though it's rated at 2K. Felt it was much better Ring.

This replaced a Ring doorbell I had and the experience between the two was night and day. I love how much better the motion detection is and how it's totally free to operate. The ring would constantly malfunction when there was thunderstorms and power fluctuations (had 4 replacements under warranty).

I've enjoyed this doorbell so much I've purchased a eufy smart lock and indoor cam. Also have recommended 3 other friends Eufy who were going to purchase ring and they enjoy it as well.

I realize my comparison may be dated since my Ring device was from the pre-Amazon ownership era so take it with a grain of salt. I will say that this doorbell is phenomenal for the price it's at

It will be replaced this Black Friday with a wired version that works with our existing chime and this will go to our family member who is living in an apartment soon

Does anyone know if this one lags like the ring door bell when detecting motion or is it quicker to display in your app?

Right I totally forgot to mention. The ones we beta tested came with the home base with SD card. This one has an internal storage. Regardless given the use case 16gb should be more than enough if this camera is the only thing you will have connected on the home base. If you are adding other cameras to the home base it might be an issue

I have a 2k Eufy I bought in 2020, and it's really frustrating. The detection zone doesn't seem to do anything - it constantly notifies me of things well outside it, and often completely misses people standing directly in front of it. Also there's so much lag/delay that it's basically impossible to try to talk to somebody through it.

Eufy has a horrible security flaw where if an intruder/thief holds the sync button on their wireless cameras it renders the footage unusable on the homebase. So unless you are awake watching you have no idea who did anything on your property.

How does this compare to the Amazon deal?
This is almost 50% off, so really curious.
