No. You can plug in USB device and store the recordings locally

supposedly no, but I bought them on BF and cancelled my free cloud trial and without cloud the devices are not storing anything on the usb in neither of my modules. I already submitted my ticket and in the blink forums there are various thread of people having the same issue if you don't have cloud.

blink has no privacy, they state that they will share all information with big brother. all amazon owned devices collect, share, sell your information. so this brings me to the second point: if you care about privacy NEVER install any camera/ voice recorders that are connected to the internet, else you are a fool.

Does the doorbell come with, or have a chime? I have the wyze that came with a separate chime. Jist keeps giving me issues.

You can wire the doorbell in and it will ring your home chime. Or if you buy one of the blink mini cameras, it also works as a chime. We have the mini in our kitchen and it rings pretty loud (you can adjust it to be louder or quieter too).

I am looking at this vs Eufy (S330) with the hard drive, any suggestions will help if you have used either.

I want local storage, don't want to pay for ongoing monthly subscription and want good photos/videos during the day and at night. TIA!

Blink works fine. I plugged in 250gb flash drive in the Sync module. Local storage , video quality is fine so far .

It is good for entry level monitor as long as you don't care about delay and missing capture.

Is the ring pro 2 better than the blink doorbell? Absolutely. Not even close especially when comparing wired vs battery. wired is always better. Is the ring pro 2 worth the extra price? That's subjective. If you can afford it and you're comfortable with how much you spent then keep it.
