I went to the KitchenAid site to buy. They have a bundle for $269 which includes the $50 flex edge beater for $20 more. When entering the site I got a $25 CB from Honey and a 15% off by adding my email address. With $17 in sales tax it came to $247 total.

I tried the same way, the coupon received on email says this item is excluded. Wondering if I am missing something?

The one at Costco is a 6 quart and it comes with a beater that scrapes the bowl as it mixes. I'd definitely go for the Costco option.

I have used the Costco 6 qt but not this 5 qt. I found the 6qt required more scraping than expected, even with the flex edge beater. I usually made single batch recipes so this could have been part of it. If I made double batches of everything It probably would have been perfect.
