I did a Samsung trade-in last year. You have something like 30 days, but you can call them and request an extension. There's no drop-off option. Samsung will email you a shipping label so you just need to take it to a Fedex store. Takes 3-5 days to get to their processing location, and then a few days to process.

The key thing is you want them to receive and process the trade-in before your return period ends, just in case something goes wrong with the evaluation. Last year, many people got an an initial rejection of the trade-in, but a chat or phone call was usually able to resolve it.

There was a massive thread on a similar deal a year ago. A lot to read through, but you'll find all the details on the trade-in process.

I traded in an incredibly old ipad to get the galaxy S7 fe tab on a similar deal a few months ago.

galaxy 7 FE is sooooo slow. slower than my 6+ year old ipad. the only thing i can do on this tablet that doesn't frustrate me with how slow it is, is streaming netflix/youtube. horrible tablet.

I think I got into the same deal you mentioned - and I too felt the Tablet to be less snappy than expected. The S-pen latency is more than I'd like. BUT, the large, sharp LCD display, the build and battery life - for this price - is worth it IMO. In comparison, I'd say at $125 it is a much better value than a Fire HD 10 @ $75 if you're in the market for one and have a suitable trade-in to do.

Bonus: Last night there was a deal to upgrade from a S7 FE to S8+ (Same size, better hardware spec and sAMOLED display) for $100 more - it is OOS but would've been a steal. So getting one also preps you up for some unicorn deals such as above.

Which variant did you buy? 64gb or 128gb? Their RAM size is different. 64 comes with 4GB, 128 comes with 6GB and 256 with 8GB RAM.

probably the 128gb, whatever the cheapest option. I think my ipad had 1gb memory? 2 at the most, yet it was still smoother. Besides the bigger screen of the S7 FE, I don't really enjoy using it, and i'm in general a Samsung fan as I"ve been using a galaxy phone for years and currently using the Zflip 4.

I've had the same experience. Love the screen but it's truly infuriating sometimes. It's basically become a kitchen recipe and YouTube tablet.

Doesn't it depend on how much ram your version has? Another commenter says the 64gb has 4gb of ram, 128gb has 6gb, and 256 has 8.
