Yes, the price. You'll be paying for a gen4 but be limited to gen 3 speeds. You can find gen 3 for cheaper

Does it say 1gb cache in the title? That said, don't know much about this brand... I'm interested to hear input

Didn't I mention that explictly in the specification?

I got the 2tb version of this a few weeks ago. So far it seems to work well. For those who may not know, this company was started by Sony engineers and was a joint venture with Phison and Sony. It seems like they might now be fully owned by Phison according to this article. Either way, it's supposed to be designed for the PS5. I have not had any issues with it yet. It seems to do the job. https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/phison-acquires-nextorage-to-strengthen-customized-high-end-storag... [guru3d.com]

I think gen 4 drives are on average hotter.

It looks like it has a 5 year warranty. I don't know about their actual warranty process though. I'm guessing there's not much data good or bad on that given it's a newer company.

Do you think we can return back to NE if it fails during the return period (like 30 days or something?).

I am probably not the person to ask about this. I generally have an unfavorable opinion of Newegg. They seem to put things on sale often, but I think others are better when it comes to returns. In theory it should be returnable within this period if it fails, but I don't know.
