Nope I just had a 5 month old IdeaPad go out on me hinge wise and Lenovo said, even though it's under warranty, it's not covered. I don't abuse my things and has steered me away from Lenovo

I have the 14" version, with 4700u. Been using it since 3/2021. No hinge issue. Maybe I got lucky?

I know some have switched over to screws but a lot of their laptops did/do use glue for the hinges

I bought this a while back. While using it I got the idea to return it and buy a better laptop. So I guess it worked.
