Probably not a popular deal because of monthly credit. Looking past it and assuming we all need the phone for the rest of our life, this is one of the decent deals available with no trade in.

Called customer service and able to waive the activation fees and got additional $25 one time credit.

If you are not in iphone family or need a phone without trade in , but dont mind sticking with ATT, this is a great deal.

Future upgrades: iphones usually holds their value and probably can be traded-in towards $800 credit towards future upgrades. This assumes we will get $800 credit at the time of next upgrade. for example iphone XR still gets $800 credit even after 4 years.

Requires Unlimited plan @40/month with autopay and autobill

Can you explain ?
ATT or other service providers , give you credit when you upgrade and trade in your old phone in good condition, for example current Iphone XR, Iphone 11 model gets $800 credit towards upgrade.

I did this deal yesterday. Att is the only provider that works at my house, so this deal was perfect for my family. Got 6 iPhone 13s.

Requires an unlimited plan - which many have, but many do not. I'd love to do this but with my 10GB shared plan that only costs me $100 a month for two lines. Oh well. want to get SO an iphone 13 for thanksgiving but with some sort of deal.

Here is a catch in that, before upgrading phone must be paid off, which is 36 month form purchase as per the deal, however if you wanna get in early for the upgrade promotions you need to payoff the rest of the remaining money ( no credit fot that)

Called CS about unlocking. In order to unlock it has to be paid off, when you pay off early, it'll be the original price, not this promo price.

I'm seeing a minimum monthly bill of $73. I don't see any $40 a month plan that's valid with this offer? Am I doing something wrong or is this post inaccurate?

Plan is for good people who prefer AT&T service due to other carriers having poorer/unreliable reception.
