S5 body is 1499. With lens kit is 1799. There is some open box excellent for lower cost. Decent deal, but still waiting on the magical 4k60fps video recording unlimited for under $1K with lens. I need this for recording tennis matches.
Really tempted by that one...if it had physical stabilization I'd be all over it. Wonder if it might come with the selfie grip that this camera is often packaged with.
All my m4/3 glass is olympus so none of it has in-lens stabilization. I'd really like better video capabilities than my older E-M10, but I'm still going to be taking a lot of still photos.
Honestly I'm still kind of tempted given it works with the LUMIX Webcam Software. I'd love to have the ability to use my high-quality m4/3 glass on important video calls...and I assume for that use case, the webcam software that directly controls the camera is easier than an HDMI capture device and a camera body with clean-HDMI out. Especially since as best I can tell, the G100 can be charged via the same USB-C connection you'd be streaming over...so no need to find an external power source.

Your description is exactly why I pulled the trigger on one of the used excellent G100. A budget lens swap capable webcam, intending to use the USB connection and the webcam software. Will use an external mic, so no concern about the software not being good with audio.
How does the G100 compare to G7 at the same price point? G7 is much older but doesn't have the recording limits. G100 has bigger sensor and some stabilization but the 10 min 4K recording limit makes it somewhat useless for vlogging.
I bought it at amazon, they had 5 monthly payments, $140 first, then balance over 5 months. Good for me, I'm broke. Using it for Astrophotography, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqwtbA-F79E&t=5s . There are others in her videos, it's a good starter for me. I can't afford $2000 cameras.
