FYI: I just purchased the cheapest just "smart watch" from Amazon... Didn't even open the boxes... And got the full credit. They don't have the one I bought anymore, but something like this for < $10

I have an Amazfit BIP that's 6 years old. I messaged the Samsung chat expert to make sure it qualified, they said yes. I asked about the Xiao mi band 5 and they said no. just ask the chat person to confirm if your watch qualifies.

If you just bought that for trade-in, then you haven't "got" the full credit. If that watch doesn't have FCC ID anywhere, Samsung can deny your trade-in and remotely disable your watch.

I'm super tempted by this deal but I have an old S2 that I haven't even powered on in years. It isn't on the list and I'm wondering if it won't be accepted as a trade 🤔

I have a Samsung 3 in perfect condition. This would mean a Samsung 5 costs $80 plus taxes. Not cheap but not bad either. I might have Fitbit lying around.

But does anybody know if Samsung 3 has any value on Ebay and Craigslist and how easy to sell? I haven't ever sold a used watch before.

I have an old samsung watch that's not listed either but there is an option after choosing samsung any smart watch any condition and it says 75 dollar instant savings

Seems like people in this thread dont realize that all Samsungs pre-sales chat are contract workers that dont know anything, and also get commissions if you use the links they give you.

You can still see if they promise you the trade-in will work, but they dont know anything and will lie, however you need to screenshot it in case your trade-in is denied in a month, and then you can argue with the post-sale order support.

On a side note, the health tracking on Samsung watches still sucks and isnt accurate. If youre looking for a general smart watch this is fine, if youre looking for good health tracking specifically, its a no go.

I'd like to upgrade my watch (2017 Wear24 $50 Slickdeal) to the Watch 5, but with my Pixel 6 phone, it looks like many watch features won't work (heart rate, blood pressure monitor, etc). I've seen some postings about a hack for the Watch 4 where some features would work on non-Samsung phones, but does anybody know if there's ways to get some of these Watch 5 features on a non-Samsung phone?
