Correct, the auto release and also the thermometer probe are the 2 things this model gains. It's a killer deal at $219.99. I love mine, it's great for air frying and pressure cooking

Comparable, this has a thermometer probe that I think the instapot doesn't. Also the lid here is an all in one, does pressure cooking and air frying and doesn't come off. The instapot uses 2 separate lids which can be harder to store.

ol601 only difference is no thermometer I think, kohls has it for 195.99 with kihls 30% coupon. I want one but I'm torn if the thermometer is worth $25 lol

This one doesn't have the thermometer probe but is definitely much less expensive. I figured best to share as $125 for 8qt was a great price and I have loved the one I picked up.

The thermometer probe is probably the biggest thing ever added to a pressure cooker. Imagine cooking a nice big piece of meat and rather than trying to figure out how long to cook it, you just stick the probe in it and have a chart of the proper internal cooking temperature of different meats and setting the internal temperature of the meat and just walk away from the unit. Way less guess work and perfect cooking every single time.
