When ordering keep this is mind..

You can place the ship date around 30 days out. You can then call customer support and extend that date out every 30 days. You would do this so it would be shipped and delivered around your delivery date. Because you get a trial period starting after its delivered, this gives you a true trial period and warranty period.

I was able to put the ship date out until mid-February when ordering. My order appears to have gone through successfully and the confirmation email states it'll ship within 2 business days of the day I picked.

$1000 for something your baby sleeps in for about 3 months... Yikes. Way overpriced. By your 2nd or 3rd kid no one's buying these.

Depending on kid's flipping ability, maybe about 6 months. If it does actually make a difference in getting the little one to sleep, I'd pay twice this. Months 2 through 6 for us were absolute hell until we trained her with good habits and she could sleep on her stomach. Would be worth every penny to cut that pain just in half.

Like if you used it for 3 months, that's $11/day. I would gladly play $11 per day for 3 months for something that made a big difference in getting my kid to sleep.

I bought this 40% off in 2018 ($790 then), kid slept in it a full year, resold in 2019 for $650. 100% worth it. I've had 4 kids. I didn't buy any fancy crap for any of them, except this, and it was magical. If you don't think it's magical, it's because you didn't use one. Or because you don't have the discretionary income for a $1000 crib - which is totally fine, but let's not pretend this is not a fantastic piece of equipment when you're a mom who's got to nurse her kid at 2:30am and get them back to sleep IMMEDIATELY. also, 8 hours of sleep by 5 weeks old.
Truth be told, any parent who bought the snoo for their kid scratches their head wondering why they don't make one for adults. 😂

Screw the sleep number beds, where's the Kickstarter for an adult snoo?!

Um, I bought one for my 4th kid. He slept in it for a full year, and my kids are all 90+ percentile for height.

Ymmv none of our three kids seemed to like it much and outside a few rare occasions it wasn't able to soothe them back to sleep. With the price increase and the used market we'll end up coming close to breaking even.

Others swear by its effectiveness

I'm a little confused. Amazon's return policy is 90 days, but in the product details it says 30 days, which one should I trust?

I really wanted this to work but ended up returning within the 30 day window because it made no difference. The motion didn't soothe her because she was more interested in getting her paci back than the motion and it didn't help her stay asleep any longer either. Could be because she was already 6 weeks when we got one.

Their customer service is pretty great tho so worth taking a flyer as I know how rough those first 8 weeks are.

You think people are just throwing these away after 3 months?
I previously mentioned we paid 750 used and resold it for 700. So we paid 50 bucks for 4 months. Seems pretty cheap to me.

Be careful purchasing these 2nd hand. These can be rented by the company, and then people stop making payments and sell them. In this case, the company can remotely lock them. Similar to a blacklisted cellphone.

I bought one used for ~$800 and sold it 6 months later for ~$700. For us it wasn't worth it as our baby didn't really need it (bought it in anticipation). YMMV I guess.

Re RSV - understandable that people are concerned but the virus doesn't survive more than a few hours on surfaces so not really that big of a deal. We did just have our round of RSV but our kids play with other kids on a daily basis so not surprising.

In this current state of heightened RSV the last thing is want to put my kid into would be something with fine mesh that was used by some other kid. If that $300 is worth it to you to roll the dice so be it; not I.
Umm if you wipe something down, don't throw your kid in it the second you pick it up, you'll be fine. There's almost no risk of contact transmission over that period of time.

Some AMEX cards may have an offer for HappiestBaby. I currently found a 3% back for purchases at HappiestBaby.com on one of my cards up to $250 which would expire sometime next week.

By chance, does anyone know if we would be charged at the time of ordering (i.e. now), or if we delayed shipping into the future (such as January) would we only be charged once it's ready to ship in January?
