A great way to expose your new baby to excessive EMF radiation and annoy them with wacky sounds and movement while sleeping. There's no way that a baby gets more restful sleep in this thing than in a quiet room in a crib or regular bassinet. Not only that, you're teaching the baby to rely on rocking and sounds to sleep, so have fun when transitioning them out of this device.

15% Amazin registry discount stacks on top of this. Ordered mine as soon as the price went live on Amazon, got it delivered yesterday. $920 all in. I was planning to purchase used, they're $850-900 in my area for one that at least appears clean. Stoked to have a warranty tied to mine now and happy that my actual usage cost will be a couple hundred bucks max after resale.
Hate myself for not setting up the registry earlier. Says I will get the completion discount in December now -.-

This was awesome with our youngest son. The great thing is we paid $1200 for it (I think?) used it for ~5 months, then sold it for $1000.

$200 for 5 months of improved sleep = well worth every penny.

Our baby is a crier. But this puts her to sleep like a light. This thing has problems if you lose internet: I've spent hours trying to reconnect it at times but I will say it's worth it. My go to fix is to clear the bassinet of anything, leave it off for like 5 min, then turn it back it. It should show up in your wifi. If you're suffering from postpartum or have a crier, I'd recommend this. It buys you time to get a battle before a full blown melt down.

Sounds is easy to reproduce but rocking may be harder. I've had mine in waning mode since day one because otherwise, it rocks them the entire time. I feel like the rocking overstimulates them to zone out and sleep after which it turns off in like 2-3 min. So I believe this can be useful if used appropriately, not following the manufacturer instructions.

This thing does have a WIFI button that lets you disable it to limit EMF. Overall, I think this product is pretty well designed.

I honestly think the negative effects of a crying baby are far worse to the family unit than using this tool with precautions.

Better deal, hear me out. What if you can buy a used one and then sell it back for 750?. Extra sleep for free!
We got a used one. Pro tip ask for the manufacture date and make sure that you aren't getting one of the original/older models as they have a lot more problems

Love ours. We used it on our 4 year old until about 8 months I think. Currently using it on our 4 week old and working just the same.

Had no problem transitioning away from it when our first outgrew it.

amazing how the industry tricks new parents into buying expensive crap like this. you really should not need this
Would you say the same thing about dishwashers, power drills, hand mixers, or other efficiency items people don't necessarily "need" cause it can be done the old fashioned way? Cause I don't think anyone's arguing about needing a Snoo, based on years and generations of babies sleeping before its invention. The question is if this is a lifestyle item that's worth the cost.

Having used it for my baby from the second night, I'd say yes, but this is a totally unscientific and anecdotal account. Would they have slept fine without it? Who knows, but my gut tells me it helped a lot and I don't regret the purchase.

In this current state of heightened RSV the last thing is want to put my kid into would be something with fine mesh that was used by some other kid. If that $300 is worth it to you to roll the dice so be it; not I.
Pretty sure RSV is not staying alive on a service long enough for that to be a consideration (hours on a hard surface and even less on soft)…especially if you clean it.

Either way if you have a rough sleeper and can swing the cost this is a godsend. We had this for our second and it was great. if you buy a new one and sell it when done and show date of purchase etc to confirm first owner these sell really well so you are really probably spending 300 bucks to use this for 6-9 months.

We bought this when it first came out and used it on both of our kids to great success. Contrary to what a few of these other posters are saying, we had zero issue transitioning both of our kids to a crib from the Snoo. We have since let 3 other friends borrow it for their newborns, and all of them have also experienced similarly awesome results with the Snoo. Easily one of the best purchases we made for our kids and very highly recommended, especially for those first 6 months or so when literally every additional bit of sleep counts.

You can buy a Mararoo for $50 used. Let baby fall asleep in the mamaroo, then transfer into crib after 30min or so. Our baby slept 9-12 hours a night after they no longer needed night feedings.

Best part, they are sleep trained to crib. No need for a bassinet.
