The real factor that should dictate whether you get this is whether you want an open-back headset. If you're looking for something to isolate you from a noisy home, this is almost certainly not the right headset. For even less money, you can get the HyperX Cloud Alpha, a closed-back stereo gaming headset with fantastic audio (though it also has a quiet mic). If you're looking for something with a few more features, the Razer BlackShark V2 is cheaper and better on basically every front, though it is a closed-back headset. The SteelSeries Arctis 7 will also around the same price and delivers just as many features as the BlackShark V2, only it's also wireless."

I was really close to getting these at one point, but got the Flights for the convenience. It's all preference.

If i wanted to add a mic to them for xsx or ps5, how can I do that?
All the attachable mic options seem to be for headsets with aux inputs, which those obviously don't have

I'm currently waiting on a Mini XLR -> 3.5mm female adapter to see if I can make that work with a detachable 3.5mm (male to male) with inline mic on it. Hopefully it works.

For myself personal setup that took me substantial trial-and-error to arrive upon:
I use the Sennheiser 560S with a V-Moda add-on microphone with a Mayflower DAC-AMP.
It's a great little setup for music, work calls, and FPS gaming without needing to switch headsets/headphones.
I have the Sennheiser PC38X (more expensive iteration of this PC37X on sale), and personally I feel the 560S with an add-on microphone is far, far superior - better overall sound quality and better spatial sound for gaming, too. The DAC-AMP with microphone input is pretty expensive but even without a DAC-AMP the 560S does really well with spatial sound.

Buy with confidence. This is better than any "gamer" brand headphones under $100 easily. Open back is also the way to go. These are great for being a sweaty soundwhore in MW2 lemme tell you.
