SoCalGas consistently notified me less than an hour in advance of an event and they adjusted the heat overnight so I froze my butt off while sleeping. SCE events were much easier to manage. I'm never allowing SoCalGas to have access to my unit again.

Older homes don't necessarily have the greatest insulation and some still have single pane windows, so even just a few weeks ago, we were getting 62F indoors in south OC. Not exactly freezing temps but as we go deeper into winter, i expect it to drop into the 50s at night indoors.

Gotcha. I had my money on Big Bear Lake or so. We have pretty good insulation but it also drops into the low 60s overnight here in Temecula.
