Was just about to post this. Good deal for an Arlo Pro 4 XL model. For anyone not familiar with Arlo cameras, almost all (cameras above Arlo Pro 2) need subscription for cloud storage and subject detection alerts. their $9.99/month plan allows unlimited cameras with up to 2K resolution. This deal includes the base which offers an option to attach a USB drive and enable local storage.

Friendly advice for anyone considering these, check out the Arlo subreddit. I wish I had before I purchased these over the summer and the Pro 3 Spotlight. Tech sites reviewed these well, but hearing day-in-the-life reviews and issues would have been helpful.

My Pro 4 XL and Pro 3 Spotlights had terrible screeching static feedback when viewing live or recorded video. The only way to stop this was to remove microphone capabilities, which isn't ideal when listening for noises or 2 way communication. It's been an issue with these cameras for a couple years that hasn't been remedied by Arlo yet.

I spoke with support a few times and removed any potential interference. Unfortunately, nothing solved the problem and I returned both products right before the return window closed.

YMMV, but wanted to flag this issue for anyone considering these.

I also had the wired doorbell, which worked well, so maybe it's an issue with the batteries on these devices.

This is a good price. The Arlo Pro 4 cameras are some of the best rated by review sites. The bulk of the bad reviews are based upon having to pay for a subscription once the free trial runs out. These are solid cameras, but look into the subscription service before buying to make sure you are aware of what happens when the free trial runs out.

Good camera, have 5 already the past year, all work well. Subscription options are better now that it's 9.99 for unlimited cameras. This is a great price. Only thing I don't like is that the XL does not work with the magnetic mounts.

4K, solar, no monthly sub as recordings are local, home base has 16GB storage plus you can add HDD for up to 16TB! I already have 2k setup by them. Will wait for something like this to go on sale

If you are not concerned about cloud storage, Eufy will be economical in long run. It is fairly stable. Wait till there is a deal/sale. Don't compare with MSRP.

Did Eufy ever fix the problem they had with holding the sync button on the camera and it deleting all the footages including what's on the Homebase
