Again, I have no dog in a fight over how other people spend their money. I just happen to firmly believe that 99/100 times, the bulb splitter is the more logical route for most people. Are panel lights cool? Sure! Do they make the most sense? Not for longevity, no.

That being said, people have the right to spend their money however they choose. I just wanted to share the revelation I had involving the same products for the same purpose.

Your use case works for you. It doesn't work for everybody.

Edit: I don't see you pointing out electrical wire rating. Do you know what your garage socket rating is? How many bulbs have you put on that? Are they incandescent or LED bulbs? Have you exceeded the wattage limit of your wiring and are overheating it?

With your advice, people are more likely to create fire hazards rather than ease repairability or create economical advantage.

And with your advice, I can add extenders to extenders and have many more bulbs. That will definitely not end well.

Maybe think twice before you give random advice.
