The average price in America per kilowatt hour is 16 cents. This has a capacity of 200 watt hours so 16/5 is a savings of about 3 cents a day.

An average person works 260 days a year so this will save you about $8 a year if you charge it to full each day at work and use it until empty at home.

Worth it? Your call….

I have the same question, might make a good UPS.

And yes it does: Pass-Through Charging PowerHouse is capable of pass-through charging while connected via a vehicle output or AC outlet. It will not replenish its own battery if the power requirements of connected devices exceed that of input.

I wonder if anyone's ever tried taking something like this to work, charging it up and using it at home. what would the savings even look like.

This seems like a great deal for a small unit to power something like a CPAP when camping, but it doesn't indicate if the 12V is regulated or not which is a deal breaker for many electronics (like a CPAP).

Maybe for naps. Shows 3-5 hrs for a CPAP
