Folks still using keychain? Are new locks all electrical with either keypad, finger print reader or smart features? I got keyless more than 10 years ago.

How is that more useful when this has more functionality on it?
Cutting kinda sucks with the dohicky. If you cut more than anything , clipkey is bomb.

I have dohickey on my keychain rn bc I recently flew and it will get through airport security.

I also took a file to the edge and made it nice and sharp. I probably use this thing 10 times a day at work and at home.

Also, I can start my car and unclip my keys to go lock/unlock my house, as well as remove my motorcycle key separately and quickly. Caribiner style has held up much better than a quick release over the years.

I also open a lot of beer bottles. I slightly prefer a lighter, but I don't smoke anymore nor does like anyone I know.

All in all, probably my top ten tools I've used for the past 2 years.

Even if your car uses an elock would it not be a good idea to keep a back up key with you is something happens *cough Tesla*

If your battery dies you need a key to open your door

It has things I actually use, in particular the serrated edge works for cutting. Occasionally to screw or pry.

That said, I don't carry it all the time.

I have been using my actual keys as box openers for decades.

Not everyone is an owner/occupant of their residence.

I'm sure their is a good percentage of apartment residents here.

This item is only good to clip on hiking/camping backpack. On daily keychain is overkill and just adds unnecessary bulk. Any normal key can be used as box cutter to cut the packaging tape.

I recommend this to people who do hiking / camping
