My AMEX was only 10%. By the way if you add Apple Care to the cart the pay with points does NOT appear. Confirmed with Amazon chat that Apple Care cannot be in the cart.

This is spot on.

I just contacted Amazon and they told me there is no option for them to provide a price adjustment and that the only option is to return the product.

The return process is not as easy as most products when it comes to these Air Pod Pro, at least for me anyway.

They want me to print a label and take in to Amazon which is just a slight bit of hassle compared to what I normally experience, which is taking the product to the UPS store and they just scan it in.

The "for you" page is mostly sponsored deals. And I agree with you about there being a lot of shill deals. Which sponsored deals are fine in theory, they help keep the lights on, but they're never disclosed on here which is really sketchy. But I can't imagine being that entitled to expect every deal to be catered exactly to my buying preferences where I can't just scroll on but feel like I have to come in to a deal and thread crap.
