No, it's a preference thing. Red - quiet, blue -clicky. Brown or aqua somewhere in between

Anyone know if this is hot swappable? If I don't like the switches, can i swap them out for another brand/type of switch?

For a keyboard that is $80 retail, it can't be expected to be perfect or compare to the $150-$200 models. All things considered, at this price point, it is a good deal though. If you want to know all about this keyboard, it is thoroughly reviewed, here: https://www.rtings.com/keyboard/r...occat/pyro

If you want hot swap, get the EVGA Z15. It's cheaper than this one too a lot of the time.

Generally there are 3 switch types:

Red = linear and silent (no bump)

Brown = tactile bump and silent (you feel a little bump when the key is activated)

Blue = tactile bump and clicky [noisy](same tactile bump as browns but makes a clicking noise + bump).

There are speed switches and different actuation pressures with different colors but for the most part all 3 switch types falls under the above 3. Razer has their own colors but same concepts. Which switch type you want is really a preference thing. You can try them out at stores like Best Buy or Microcenter.

how does this compare to Logitech G PRO? The latters seems to have slightly lower score for gaming while costing more :

vs

?

Just fyi, I got this keyboard yesterday and upon first use it types by itself like it's possessed. I have a ticket open with the manufacturer, but if they can't resolve it I am returning.

I just grabbed this as well. I have no issues, mine works perfectly. I will say however, it is a little loud. I order some dampners. I used a couple from my old keyboard and they make a decent difference on this keyboard. The wrist rest is plastic, but I actually find it pretty comfortable. I have a gel one, but it gets hot and sits a little too high. This doesn't get hot. The ridges seem to make it feel softer.
