Incredible that the price for this didn't change at all over the years. Bought this bundle four years ago for the same price at Gamestop - except that Gamestop threw in an additional $50 gift card back then.

My kids are pretty young, 8, 5 and 3. This will be their first console. How important is the OLED version? I honestly do not anticipate them playing it off of the TV all that much. I think I am going to get this bundle and then return it if a good deal on the OLED pops up. I appreciate your help.

That is exactly what I am doing. Mine are 6 and 3. Doubtful my kids ever take it and play off TV. If an OLED comes up, I'll return this.

I bought it last year and returned it. Just wasn't ever going to play it enough to make it worth it. It will be the same deal until the end of time or the release of Switch 2.

However the better deal was probably that Dell deal where it included a $75 giftcard and some people got a game and pro controller too.

The Dell $75 gift card comes up a few times a year. For $350 you get the better console and can buy yourself 1-2 games.
