I am an existing Hulu subscriber. Can I get the $1.99/month for a year offer?
Hulu's $1.99/month for a year offer is an online-only, limited time offer that is available only to new and eligible returning subscribers. Existing Hulu subscribers are not able to change their Hulu subscription to take advantage of the $1.99/month for a year pricing for our Hulu (With Ads) plan.
** USE A DIFFERENT EMAIL ADDRESS BEEN DOING IT EVERY YEAR WORKS GREAT.
NOTE - even with a different email address, if paying with a Credit Card, a credit card previously linked to an account will be rejected and the rate of the offer goes to $7.99/month. You must use a different credit card than one linked to a previous Hulu account to get the $1.99 /month rate. May not apply if the account the card was linked to has not been active for 1 month.
If you cycle between 2 accounts every year: I used an existing Hulu account from the 2020-2021 $1.99 deal which was dormant/inactive for the last 12 months. I used a private Firefox window and was able to resubscribe by logging into the old account. No problem with email address or credit card. YMMV
AMEX Plat users get $20 credit a month on Hulu and Disney+ in addition to the AMEX Blue Preferred get $7 credit a month plus 6% back.

They started this promo at .99. Then a few years later they changed it to 1.99. it was 99 cents last year and now back to 1.99.
Bummer because if you have a discover card and only have a .99 cents charge they waive it every month. No more free hulu š
