I got it on that 199 back in the day. Never seen it that low since. This is a great deal. This is my "prized" socket set of the dozens I have. I NEVER close it without every position full, and the kids know it is OFF LIMITS. Love this set. The square socket shape is awesome too.

I got it on that 199 back in the day. Never seen it that low since. This is a great deal. This is my "prized" socket set of the dozens I have. I NEVER close it without every position full, and the kids know it is OFF LIMITS. Love this set. The square socket shape is awesome too.

This was top 10 on my list of hunting items for almost 3 years now. 199 was my trigger price given that it has never been lower including on the secondary market, even used. Thanks to you OP, the hunt is finally over! Also, Price Match at Home Depot.com was succesful. Only had success with calling in, both chat associates were not intrested in helping at all claiming an issue with honoring the maxtool BF discount code.

Is there an advantage to ordering this set over ordering the three pieces set separately?
When I add the three parts of this set to my cart and use the promo code above my total is $175.22 plus tax and free shipping.

There are 4 parts. The 3/8 kit, 1/4 kit, Packout case, and Packout inserts. I don't think you have the right sets. I'd love to be proven wrong because I have the 3/8 set and want the rest.

How are you getting $175? I did it and it comes out to $203 for me with the code.

1. 3/8 kit is $89.10
2. 1/4 kit is $84.15
3. Packout case is $40.47
4. 106 kit insert is $14.38

Minus the $25 gets you around $203

I think you're not picking the same parts. This is equivalent to the 50 piece of each set , plus the pack out, plus the inserts. The packout alone is $40.47

I missed the 106 insert. It appeared to me that the inserts for the 1/4 and 3/8 where close but I was wrong.

That 3/8 kit is still a great deal. I can't get behind the 1/4 kit when the EZ Red 4s04 exists at the same price point. My whole 1/4 kit is pretty small and has a 3/8 adapter in the bag.

I love my Packout setup but I couldn't get behind this kit.
