I was ready to buy either this mouse or the MX Master 3S but then I learned both of them have rubber grips in the palm area. Unless you want to replace your $100-120 mouse in 2 years when the rubber degrades and becomes sticky with no way to clean it off, I would pass.

I was gonna get this bc I like the idea of the mousepad charging the mouse. But the previous previous AA powered may bet the better play, on BT it last forever and even hundreds of hours in higher polling rate wireless mode. Just run some lithium rechargeable AA or even some Nimh , even they have pretty good shelf life these days. I'd be onboard but I got the g604 for 45 or 50 dollars so no deal here gonna match that

The Pro X in the other thread is really nice. I ended up myself getting the powerplay mat because I was tired of charging my mice haha

It's like you say, they don't give much if any discounts on the current logitech pro line. That considered this deal is phenomonal, it has the rgb light that is big enough to actually see and enjoy as well

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if BB didn't intend to stack the discounts on the already discounted Pro X Superlight though. It's FP at $110 right now and this deal makes it $85 haha. I wish the G502 was on sale though - it was $152 two weeks ago and surprised they haven't done any discount for it yet.

Yeah, seems silly to go wireless for your mouse to end up needing a wire to your mousepad.

I've had the original MX Master for 6+ years, no issue with the rubber on it.
does anyone know if there is a way to physically remove the rubber grips on this mouse and replace it with plastic counterparts? i used to use the original g502 and the rubber gripe on the sides wear out due to either oils from my finger or me putting too much pressure on the rubber. either way, i prefer plastic because it won't degrade.
it is in my opinion that the g502 is the perfect mouse due to the button layout and shape of the mouse. i'm not a fan of the superlight because it only has two side buttons which would make me rely too much on my left hand to click everything else.

There's a reason the Pro X is so highly regarded. I immediately became better in all games.
