I have some Insignia NiMH batteries for my XBox One controller and I'm wondering if those fit the Series S/X controller.

These are absolutely my favorite battery packs. They work great.

a couple more bucks you can get the usb charger device that attaches to the console and an extra battery.

Just bought the one you were describing for 11.99. Nice small gift for a friend who recently did me a favor. Thanks for the recommendation

If you don't need more USB C cables, there is also the RocketFish Xbox series X/S controller battery for 4.99

I don't understand the point of using that dock, the use of buying this is to charge the controller directly with cable
Using that you have to open the controller, take them out and charge them
this dock looks much better

I've used both types of docks over the years.

In my opinion, the insignia dock that attaches to the console has worked the best.
You can have a battery in the controller and a spare charging at all times. When battery runs out, easy and quick swap.

This is the one I am referring to. They have versions for the older consoles and the series s / x. A steal with 2 batteries. Check out the reviews as well.

The ones where you dock the controllers never quite worked to well and are clunky.
I had a couple different variations of those over the years since original xb1 I personally don't recommend.

At the end of day, whatever works best for you.

Do you have a link to the Xbox one S? Not the series S.

I can't seem to find the adapters for the old xbox one s models anymore on their web site. They have likely been retired Frown.
