1200mAh is quite low. I get around 20 hours using IKEA 2450mAh x2.

I wonder if they actually sourced cells that low or if it is a typo.

Hmm, I'll stick to having spares on the charger. These are basically two AAA batteries, hence the low (1200mAh). I have OLD AAA batteries, and two are 1600mAh. One random AA I have is 2300mAh. So 4x total, for possibly up to 4x the play time versus this. Plus, I can use them on all sorts of things.

I remember buying this for the 360, I ended up plugged in a lot.

Yes that's the point of rechargeable battery. You need to recharge it
