I actually saw this as well at my local store just this weekend. It was sent to the store in the wrong display. The headsets were the wired version but the displayer the boxes were in was for the wireless pro x. Probably the same error at your store.

Purchased this last year. Used it for work team meetings and it broke apart within a few months, on both sides of the headband area. Called Logitech support and before I even finished explaining what broke apart, they knew right away. They sent me a replacement. Replacements been fine so far. They didn't have the original one in stock. Only the Shroud version.

ahh I'm looking for a closed-back headset for PC with good mic for <$150. Standalone mic is not a consideration for me; though something like a vmoda BoomPro microphone is an option. Modmic isn't an option because I don't want to deal with an extra wire and I hate how their wireless version is using micro-usb.

I've been looking at this, Logitech G Pro X Wireless, HyperX Cloud series, and the Arctis 7x/7p that's also on sale. I've also looked a bit into audiophile headphones and using the above mentioned vmoda BoomPro microphone.

So many options is making this kinda difficult:/

They have awesome sound quality, but cheap plastic joints that crack easy, as soon as you get them wrap the extension plastic pieces with a small strip of electrical tape for extra support
