This monitor has an aspect ratio of 32:9 with a pixel grid of 5120 x 1440 pixels. You could call it a 5K monitor if you want, but defining a two-dimensional monitor with a single number doesn't make much sense unless the aspect ratio is assumed.

- Cons for gaming, more pixels, more computer power required to drive it.
- Also alot of games have a fishbowl effect on the edges that stretches the image. You get used to it since thats mainly peripheral.
- Not all games will support 32:9, so you'll be playing with black bars on the side.
- Some games (looking at you Mafia 3), support 32:9, but the menus are horrible since they don't really support 32:9.
FWIW, I chose it over the 34" alienware OLED for peace of mind not being oled and the massive screen size for productivity.
