Why is it always 1440p? Why not 4k? What is the response time 1ms or 5ms?

any1 trust Amazon Warehouse. They have a few for $185. Should I assume those would have dead pixels, most likely ppl returned those units?

VA or IPS most people aren't going to care or really notice a major difference. I went into Micro Center to look at the difference between ALL the monitors on sale everywhere this season and the difference is really negligible between VA and IPS what's more important is the features and ergonomics imo
Sounds like you're in the market for one. Can I ask what you settled on? Thanks.

How is this different from the one on sale at Costco for $229.99?

I still don't get the difference between IPS vs VA panels. I play MSFS and COD but casually. I got this on Amazon and was wondering if the $100 price difference is worth it for the IPS?
In my experience we're at a point where the over all quality of the monitor matters more than panel type. I have mid-high tier IPS and VA "gaming" panels right next to each other and they are almost impossible to tell apart. The cheaper the monitor the more you'll experience the typical panel stereotypes. Smearing, glow, bad view angles, poor contrast...

Would this monitor be worth it over an Oddysey G5? Got the G5 for $200 that is 32" and curved. Main use is gaming.

I've had the non-HDR version of this monitor for 5 years. Not sure if the panel they use is the same for this model, but after going through many IPS and VA monitors (in the $400 price range at the time) this one was the clear winner for me. I can't stand super washed out blacks and edge bleed. This monitor is miles ahead of IPS in those areas. Even if paper specs are similar to other VA, this monitor also has basically no pixel response issues that I can see.

Yeah, if you play competitive FPS definitely go for a monitor oriented for that, but for normal gaming I think this monitor is the best out there at this price range, especially at the price it is now.

Amazon price is now $241.99. I missed out on the $200 Walmart deal so I'm going to buy one of these. I don't think anything similar will be cheaper than this before Christmas. Thanks OP!

Thank you. I got this model and LG-UL500 4K. I already have 2 FHD 32-inch Curved and I'm still trying to figure out if what I should keep, the LG UltraFine Gaming Monitor or the LG-UL500 4k. I was actually planning on using the monitor for work as well as a main screen, I just got the two 32-inch curved this year and I was thinking.

The difference between UHD or QHD vs FHD are so noticeable, but I can't really tell between UHD vs QHD. My video card is limited to FHD, maybe pushing it on QHD, but I don't really play AAA games even with Xbox Pass ultimate.

Probably connect it to my MacBook Air. And was thinking of 4k that's why.

I would want to replace my FHD monitors but I just got them this year for a higher price than the ones here on Black Friday but wouldn't mind the loss if I'm able sell these and get 2 QHD's or 1 Curved Ultrawide.

It's OOS online yes. I called my local Costco and gave them the item # and they were able to check stock. They had 7.
