Frankly this is the only type of software that subscriptions make sense, because new malware new threat models are on the horizon everyday.

What doesn't make sense is a subscription to office or adobe suites. One version works as well as the next so why keep paying for essentially the same thing?

Is there a way to buy multiple times (say 3 times) and have the license add years? Or can you only buy it for one year at a time?

Yes you can add 2 and the discount would be 40 off. It seems you can do up to 5.

While I can agree on this sentiment in many other areas, for stuff like security that needs to be constantly updated, the subscription model is the best way for these companies to maintain the software with up-to-date capabilities.

But yeah subscription models in stuff like cars is ridiculous. Seat heaters either work or don't.

AVG or ESET? Always thought ESET ran with fewer resources and was better software.
Obviously at a much higher cost even with the sale.

Perfect timing. Have been waiting for this deal to pop up. My subscription ended a month ago and I was holding off on buying this again until a deal like this popped up. Been using Malwarebytes for about 2 years and have been pleased with it, so I'm in in for another year. Thanks OP.
