Yeah, I went for Switch for portability. Good memories playing original Sonic on my Sega Game Gear. Man, I'm old. Ha.

The Switch version is WAY inferior, like even more than usual. Look up the Digital Foundry video on it on YouTube if you're interested in the details but unless you plan to exclusively play it on the go, you might want to avoid it.

I will hold off for 20 after the Holliday this game will drop like a rock. Next year's free ps plus game

Thanks for the heads up - I've been waiting for the Xbox version to go on sale, and this was around the price I was willing to pay to give it a try (haven't played a 3D Sonic since Heroes, but this is getting decent reviews, so why not?). And hey, if I don't enjoy it, it's getting regifted to some kids in the family, so win-win for me.

Thank you OP! I was waiting for the Walmart deal on 11/21, but now I don't have to deal with the bum-rush. I picked up a copy for the Nintendo Switch so the kids can play it on the go.

$20 bucks seems to be the common medium of Sonic switch games after a year. If you have a backlog I suggest holding off, but $30 is a great price for just coming out.

It is a very different game graphically and performance is not great on Switch at all. This is one to skip on that system. Game just isn't optimized well enough.
