FWIW, I've ordered Apple gift cards from Amazon several times without issues. Just load them into you Apple account the second you get them.

Bought Bath and Body works $50 GC, but didn't receive the extra $10.50. Called CS, and they had no idea!! They issued me courtesy credit instead. Wanted to buy more, but will refrain, not worth it..

You don't see it appear on the mobile app, but if you are on the desktop once you apply the code it on the right hand side you should see in small test "apple promo". I just purchased the Apple eGift Card and that's how I see it.
