The apple card is a good way to save a little on iCloud storage payment which never go on deal.

Does anyone know if I am subscribed to icloud+ and I buy apple gc on amazon and load it to my apple account can I pay the icloud+ subscription charged through the gift card balance?

You won't see it in your GC balance. The discount is applied only when you go to checkout (it is automatic). Check if it shows up there.
