I'm with you. I'd prefer a QHD @ 240Hz or even 165Hz.

Edit: 1080…. Which is fine for this size screen, but I really would prefer QHD. I guess that's wishful thinking for this price.

I've purchased gigabyte motherboards and videocards for about 15 years now. Never had a problem until my rtx 3090 stopped working after a month. The rma process was a mess due to some data breach so they had to redo their rma process. (all this mid pandemic) Thankfully they got it resolved and I was able to send in my card for repair. I sent it to them in mint condition but was returned scratched and dinged up. It my was actual card too…. Wasn't swapped for another. I didn't care about that though. I'm just happy it worked and was back at gaming. I still plan on buying their products in the future!!

I'm looking for a decent laptop which I can play RDO game time to time.

Just one downside. All of the Intel 12th gen CPUs draw massive amounts of power. The 12700H is no different and is basically a nuclear meltdown waiting to happen in this chassis. When that happens performance throttles down quite significantly ~35% and will also impact the GPU performance.
