I got the Costco version of this and hated it and returned it. Constantly pressing the power button by accident and it didn't shave close. Costco now carries a newer model which I'm totally happy with.

I got their 6540 model from Costco for $70 down from $90 a few months ago.
It has been OK not great
I have had different models of Norelco and Remington over the years
Remington products cut much better but different pieces failed - they kept giving me replacement razors, restarting the warranty each time, and so I ended up with 4 razors after buying one, and each one lasted close to a year before having a problem
BY contrast, the Norelco;s have lasted years, but they get slower and slower - batteries fatigue out and the cutters are expensive.
I have tried them at different price points and I cannot say that the more expensive ones are any better. They just have more gimmicky features. Given that, $35 is an excellent price for getting this model since it will include a fresh set of cutters - which cost just as much

Bought mine from cvs and it's not worth the money. Does not give a close enough shave.

The new Costco one that I'm happy with is the Norelco 6600. It's currently on sale for $70 which is what I got it for a couple months back. (The one that I hated was the 6500) This 6600 is different design and different blades.
Thanks, will look into it.. does it cut close like a traditional razor in your experience? And would you rate your experience as less time consuming and more enjoyable than traditional shaving with a razor?

I have this leaves a close shave but it takes like 3-5 min to do so, also your hair has to be very short to start with or it won't work. The trimmer attachment is basically useless btw. I bought an andis trimmer from Amazon for like 70$ or so and it's a million times better. You'll get a close shave within 30 seconds

Bought it for the same price last year. I agree with others regarding the experience. It's not bad but takes longer to get a complete shave. First i trim my beard and then use this to save some time.

I have a Philips Norelco from 2010 that is still working and with great battery life of over 3 weeks with daily shave of 3 mins with one full charge.

At the same time I bought one last year for my son and it died within months of use. I am skeptical now which models runs long or is it sheer luck.

Best electric shaver I can buy? Around 120 or less?
When it's back on sale, you want Braun Series 7.

Not sure if it was just me, but got a similar one at Costco. Shave was OK but the cuttings got all over the place. I have an old Norelco Speed XL that cuts as close and not as messy, but having trouble finding replacement blades.

People needs find a shaver fit their face style. I have bought a Braun shaver last for $110. It's not working for me. So I still have to used my 10years old Norelco.
