op you can update it...
These are $39.99 in store at costco now
Do these come with oil? I noticed the box said self sharpening blades so I wondered if they need oil as well.

My last razor would get so hot for lack of oil I finally put a couple drops of 2 stroke oil on it since that's all I had.

Pro tip: do not put two stroke oil on your face shaver.
"multigroom 9000" sounds like something from futurama

Great timing!

I had actually just ordered a philips shaver multigroom 7000 from Amazon a few days ago for $37.

After seeing this thread, I'm going to cancel the order and just visit Costco tomorrow and buy this 9000 series instead for only a few dollars more.

I just checked on Amazon to see how much the 9000 is on there, and they're selling just the shaver, without all of the extra add ons for $85!

Yep, I'll be visiting my local Costco tomorrow for sure.

I've been using one of these for years to shave my facial hair and for at-home haircuts and it's been great. I had a previous version which stopped working as well so maybe they require some maintenance or the metal trimmer wears out? Regardless for the price I've been happy with them.

The pictures posted in the OP do not match the pictures on Costco.

The pictures in the OP shows a silver colored shaver, but when you go to Costco, I see an all black looking shaver.

And does the shaver come with the bag shown in the pictures on the OP?

I would assume that Costco has the correct pictures on their site for the product that they sell, so where are the pictures in the OP coming from?

No need of regular oiling. Next to battery level there is an oil drop indicator. Lube it only once the light is on.

This was on sale at Costco for $65 a couple weeks ago and I bought it.

Best way to get a refund for the difference from a Costco online order?

Edit: you can submit a claim for price adjustment on the Costco app for online purchases. Says Costco won't price match warehouse prices for online purchases, but still $45 is better than $65 I paid a couple weeks ago.

Also, the trimmer is great. I had a pretty high end Remington trimmer and this is way better. Very comfortable to use, very good build quality (doesn't feel cheap at all), lots of power (and I assume a sharp blade) attachments are great too, seems to hold a charge for a good amount of time. I'm very happy with it.

Most likely the rechargeable battery stopped holding a charge.
