Do these come with oil? I noticed the box said self sharpening blades so I wondered if they need oil as well.

My last razor would get so hot for lack of oil I finally put a couple drops of 2 stroke oil on it since that's all I had.

Pro tip: do not put two stroke oil on your face shaver.

Bought it and returned it. Really small parts and the shaver sucked. I don't even have a lot of facial hair.

Better off buying a better trimmer

I've bought a half dozen razors in my life and this set has been my favorite. Body groomer attachment alone makes this thing worth it but it's also great for trimming the beard.

Strange. I have a big thick beard and I've been using the 7000 for 2 years no issues at all. Not sure what small parts you're taking about.

How does it compare to the Wahl haircut system which includes a beard trimmer? Costco's website has it at $48 but in club today it was $40.

How is this on the undercarriage. Some older norelco trimmers were friendly down there. And some, if they even look that way, theres bloody teeth marks.

That trimmer on Amazon for $85 looks to be a nicer trimmer: there is the added word of "Ultimate". It has a horizontal dial that allows for on the fly changes to the blade depth, which I'm guessing is the reason for not having all the extra guard sizes.

Struggling to find anything on this groomer, which makes me think it's a Costco only model. Costco lists the model as MG9000, which is not on the Phillips website. Their Multigroom 9000 is the MG7770.

I just bought the 7000 (MG7750) from Amazon for $5 less than this. Reviews on it appear far better than this one.

Best I can tell the differences are Titanium (vs Steel) blades and something called "BeardAdapt Sensor", which seems like marketing.

Has anyone actually seen or used both of these? Trying to decide whether to get this MG9000 instead but not seeing a good reason.
