    I'd get pyrex over these there was a lady that the glass shattered in her face and messed her up real bad and I hear this happens quite often with Anchor hocking.

    Does anyone have a suggestion for a similar pack that may be better quality lids/glass? A little more expensive is fine, if they're worth it.

    yep. all lids are disposable. used pyrex for 10 years for lunch. Expecting the same here as i bought some already

    I have had pyrex for five years now and my lids are still fine. What do you do with your lids? How do you clean them? Probably just cheap Anchor Hocking lids? Maybe spend the extra1-2$ get pyrex it's safer and better quality won't blow up in your face and lids last.

    my lids from both pyrex and anchor are still okay too. have had them for several years, back to sears days. though i do hand wash the lids, which is what is keeping them going.

    I recommend Costco Pyrex snapware set. I picked up a set yesterday for $20. Five years ago I bought Pyrex and the lids never warped and still fit tightly.
