Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this has been the price for a while....
This time it works for old customers, last time is works only for new customers.
I like that Android phones are starting to get reasonable compact again

I know your questions are for ScottoDono, but time is of the essence here, so I'll reply so you can have time to do the deal before it's supposed to end after 12/31/22.

You can use the trick that some of us (including me) had used:
* Buy a BYOD Fi SIM at Best Buy for $10. Activate it with a compatible BYOD phone to become a Fi member. You can chose to get a new number, no need to port in for the BYOD SIM. Use a referral code here if you have one.
* Wait at least 24 hrs after activating the BYOD SIM, preferably 48 hrs, for Fi to recognize you as an existing Fi member before placing your order for the 30-day S22 phone.
* When the S22 arrives, activate with its installed SIM. It'll say that the number is currently on another phone (the BYOD phone), do you want to transfer service? Reply YES and it'll activate the S22 with a transfer from the BYOD phone and starts the 30-day countdown.

The Gotcha: Some people ordered the S22 too soon after activating the BYOD SIM and Fi didn't recognize the activation of the S22 as that by an existing Fi member. They're still trying to get that sorted out after more than a week.
Where did you see that this promo is supposed to end after 12/31/2022?

I think I saw in one of the chat transcripts that someone posted the rep made reference to a "promotion ending on 12/31/22". Could be the Pixel 7 deal which has a promo code PIXEL2022. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry.

Not sure of buying another one. This S22 series has some kind of audio problem. I ended up exchanging for a new one but it still does.
I've read some posts on another site where someone complained that the speaker of their S22 is "staticky". I have four Fi S22 phones and none has that problem.

Well, here's my "saga" for anyone who feels like watching; so instead of being a "new customer (aka port-in + 120 days), I decided to be a "current" customer. Update 12/29 -- the saga is complete! Now to start Saga #2 -- Pixel 7 for 60 days lol

* 11/23 - Purchased Fi SIM @ BB for $7
* 11/24 - Activated Fi SIM on Random Android Device. Was assigned a new number (after I picked area code). Used a referral code for hopefully 1 free month? Also I guess that the BB SIM is supposed to be $10 and I got a Fi plan credit of $10 (technically making the Fi SIM "free")
* 11/25 - Purchased S22 256GB for $350. Verbiage on promo page seems to show that I am a "current" customer and will need 30 *consecutive days*.
* 11/28 - Received S22 and activated with Fi SIM that came with S22 (already inside). Waiting for FI Account page to reflect activation status. Old phone SIM no longer works.
* 11/29 - Fi Account Credits page now shows phone as activated on 11/28, and I need to "Stay active on Fi for 30 more days"
* 12/12 - FI Savings In Progress - *Stay active on Fi for 17 more days". My phone has been off for a week
* 12/28 - Fi Savings In Progress - *Stay active on Fi for 1 more day". I have since then formatted my phone and blended the SIM.
* 12/29 - Fi Savings for S22 Promo now moved from In Progress tab to Earned tab! All 4 tasks have blue checkmarks.
Why did your BB sim no longer worked on 11/28? So we can take advantage of the Google Fi discount on the S22 and only need to get 1 month of service by buying a Fi Sim from BB first and activating on any phone and then ordering the S22 as an exsisting customer which only requires a 30 day service and not 120 days? Can this be done multiple times to get more than 1 S22 by using different Gmail accounts?

So how to make sure that FI will recognize as exsisting customer when we order S22? If we wait at least 48 hours we should be good to go? Any other thing to take into consideration? Also can we do this more than once if we want more than one S22?

Yes and yes but I would create new google account for 2nd line. You can buy sim from Amazon or BB and you should get $10 credit applied to your account to make up for the sim cost - please tell me you are ahead of that guy that posted in the other thread $8k+ in profit

1. We know from empirical evidence that if you wait LESS THAN 24 hrs to order the S22, there's a high chance that its activation will be seen as by a new Fi member although they offered the deal to you as an existing member. That's due to Fi's poor programming/ordering system.
2. I know people who waited several days had no problem.
3. No.
4. I ordered two, but I used two accounts. One account created using the Best Buy SIM. One account had Fi service from May to Sept but no current active Fi service, so I had to port in a number (I used my GV number).

I've never traded in a phone with a cracked screen, but if you disclosed the cracked screen when placing your trade-in order then they have no reason not to pay you the agreed TIV.

Quick question, I activated new line with pixel 7 Pro the day before yesterday. Can I buy S22 as an existing customer now?

Did you get the Pixel on the current promo? If so, them you probably can't... it says one per member in the T&C's.
