If you were able to activate the BB sim today , I think Saturday is fine. I may be wrong but I think their system runs once a day to update this stuff. I think its in the morning. So if two mornings pass , I would think you would be good. But don't hold me to it, I think there was one person in the thread that reported they bought the next day and had the problem, most of us that had the problem activated and bought the same day because we didnt know any better at the time
Decided to order my wife's today. Activated her Fi line yesterday roughly 23 hours ago.

Hopefully I'm not shooting myself in the foot! We'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks. I hope I won't have to deal with customer support.

For some reason, i ordered a backup sim from Fi earlier this month and activated it yesterday night as a new line. Will try and order an S22 on that line tomorrow night and hopefully it gets counted as an existing line promo... worst case, I'll have to stay 120 days with that line and port a number in...

Didn't realize that, just know it saves another $20. I found a random code online. Just makes the deal a bit better knowing you can get another $20, my bad

No sweat. Most of us committed that foul when we were newbies.

My trade-in was approved today, delivered on 20-Dec. Weird thing is that the refund to my original payment method failed, hopefully it'll go through in the next couple of days. In my calculations earlier, i overlooked the fact that i don't get the tax refunded and instead becomes fi credit 😬

A person I know on another forum got his trade-in paid out yesterday 12/29 (delivered 12/19). However, ALL of his trade-in credit went to his Fi credit instead of just the excess, none went to his credit card. He emailed Fi Support and they said it'd be fixed. Today. he got an email from another rep giving some B.S. excuse that because his trade-in value exceeds the cost of the phone so everything went to Fi credit. That's not what the trade-in terms said. He's fighting with them to get the credit amount for his phone put back to his cc.

Yikes! That's messy...

Luckily mine seems to be a weird thing rather than a messy thing right now as the fi credit amount is accurate.

You should be able to do that because you'll have 30 days from shipping of the new phone to activate it.
Has this been confirmed anywhere? I too have an S22 that's ending in about 20 days.

Lol, I don't know. With how trash their systems are, I feel like the overlap might screw it up.

Unless someone has successfully done this.

I can only go by the fact that after I ordered the 30-day S22 my BYOD Fi SIM continued working until its service was transferred to the S22. No change in service. Don't do it if you don't feel comfortable. I don't want to screw up your deal.

Another trade in data point...

Arrived in La Vergne on 19Dec.
Didn't get delivery email from Google until today (31Dec).
Got trade-in credit email 3 hours later for $480 on a cracked screen S21 (should have been $417.50).

Two down, one to go (Cracked iPhone SE 2nd for a Pixel 7).

Two of my trade-ins that have been moving through network from 22-Dec have now been reported as received by Google today....

Learnt a lesson with my activations.... i should have waited for trade-in credit to show up before activating devices to minimize my OOP.....
