  3. Under "Have a phone to trade in?", select "Get estimate"
  4. Using the drop down menus, select Apple, iPhone 7, 32GB
    • phone must be in good condition to qualify for full $246 trade in credit
  5. Click "Add trade-in"
  6. Select coverage (additional fees will apply) or skip
  7. Add to cart
  8. Your total will be $449 - $150 instant savings - $246 trade in value = $53 + free shipping.
    • You'll receive a kit to safely mail your old phone. After your old phone is inspected you'll get an email confirming its value and receive the credit in 2-5 days. Depends how quick USPS snail mail takes to get to the Tennessee receiving location. The further you ship from the more time you need to allocate as it will go strictly surface mail and possibly get delayed at numerous USPS hubs along the way. Perhaps this is cost saving strategy by Google for lower payouts. Unlike some trade in situations where a buyer just needs to ship the trade in by a certain date, the person trading in to Google Store is also responsible for USPS factors beyond that person's control.

Will they accept iPhone 7 carrier locked and it has a metal plate that is glued on the back of the phone for use with magnetic mount? Thank you in advance.

Edit: I got the metal plate out with a little of heat. Will they take a carrier locked iPhone 7? Thank you.

Yes as long as it's paid off in full and doesn't have any kind of accounts including iCloud (has to be able to do full factory reset).
