I spoke to a rep yesterday about this owners reward

Rep said they haven't gotten the code to work as of then and I could place a order then credit me back the 20% in 7-10 days

Airwrap is eligible and I ordered it.

I just bought the Airwrap less than 2 weeks ago as a Christmas present for my wife. She already has the hair dryer. I was able to chat with support and they refunded the 20% to my card.

Is there any indication how long this event lasts? I was already in the market for a vacuum so I just purchased an animal ball 3 that I will receive on Friday. It also made a good excuse to try this owner event out so I can buy an airwrap on discount but obviously I won't even qualify until I get the product and register the serial number with Dyson.

last year they took my info on new vacuum and never gave me a deal for airwrap. dyson is not very generous these days. I would not trust them to credit me back

Replying to myself to provide information. I contacted chat and they told me this event would be going through November 27. Rather than place an order for the airwrap now and have them credit me back money once I contacted them on the 25th with my vacuum serial number, they told me to just contact them on that date through chat and they would place the order and apply the discount at that time. The rep mentioned that there had been some problems with issuing and using the codes and so Dyson had instructed them to place orders and apply discounts through chat.

I registered my current product last night. I was able to call today and place an order for the Airwrap at 20% (no need to wait for a refund).

I am very frugal (female) and had anyone told me that I would spend $550 for a hair styler (cost of original Airwrap), I would have laughed. I ordered the first one fully intending to return it in the trial period. Instead, here I am ordering another for my DIL. They truly are a miracle hair machine.
